If you are paying out of pocket (no insurance), my full fee for a 60 minute individual counseling session is $100 and for a 75 minute couples or family counseling session is $120.

If you are using your insurance, your co-payment will be based on your insurance policy. Either you or I will have to check with your insurance company to determine this; there is no other way to know.

I am an “in-network provider” for Blue Cross/Blue Shield (Regence in Oregon), Aetna, and Reliant Behavioral Health, including EAP (Employee Assistance Program) for Aetna and Reliant. There are a couple of other programs under the umbrella of those companies, so you might want to check with me if you aren’t sure.

I can also bill many other insurance companies as an “out-of-network provider”. What this mainly means for you is that the amount you have to pay may be different than the amount you would pay if you were seeing an in-network provider. How much of a difference there is varies a great deal from one insurance company to another, and the only way to know is to ask your company.

If you need to pay out of pocket and cannot afford my full fee you may be able to pay according to my sliding scale, which is based on your income. To qualify for my sliding scale fee you must schedule sessions to begin no later than 4:00 pm on weekdays (3:30 for couples counseling). I do not offer the sliding scale for evening or weekend appointments.
